AIRPORT CLOSED

The last stage of our airport improvement projects is a final coat of paint on all the stripes on the runway. In order to accomplish this we plan on closing the airport September 7, 2005 from 7a.m. to 7p.m. Please mark this on your calendar.

AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION

I recently received a call from the Faulkner County Assessors office. They wanted me to remind our customers that if your aircraft is based in Conway, it needs to be assessed in Faulkner County. Many of our customers live in Little Rock or other surrounding communities and base their aircraft at Cantrell Field. If this is your case, then your aircraft is probably registered and assessed in your home county. According to the assessors office this is not proper. Faulkner county taxes are less than Pulaski County taxes so an added benefit of registering your aircraft in Faulkner County would be a possible tax savings.

CANTRELL FIELD

Doesn’t our airport just look wonderful!! Brent and the crew have been mowing and weed eating every day, the runways are smooth and brightly painted. Our runway lights are shining brightly at night. Please take a moment to pat all the guys on the back for all the hard work that goes into making our airport look good and operate smoothly each and every day.
