SIX YEARS
This month marks our sixth anniversary as owners of the FBO at
Cantrell Field. Thanks for helping to make our business a success.
BRENT BOLIN
Our FBO manager has been called up by his National Guard unit to
provide assistance to the Hurricane victims in the gulf coast area.
Please say a prayer for Brent and his family during this time of
stress. Brent should return in a month or so.
HANGAR LEASES
It’s that time of the year again, time for your hangar lease to renew.
Your lease renews automatically, so there’s nothing for you to do.
This year there is a small increase to your hangar rent. It’s been a
couple of years since we’ve had an increase and I’m quite sure that
everyone is aware of the cost of business skyrocketing! All of our
leases do not renew in October so the hangar increase will go into
effect on the renewal month of your lease. We’ve had a few
misunderstandings about the lease that we need to clarify. Your lease
is an ANNUAL LEASE. If you sell your plane mid-year, your lease still
runs for the remainder of the year and even then we need a 30 day
notice to terminate the lease. We’ve been quite lenient allowing our
customers to terminate their lease when selling or moving their plane,
however, the 30 day notice provision in the lease is something that we
must strictly enforce.
FUEL PRICES
There’s not much I can really say about fuel prices. We’ve never seen
them so high and they’re hurting all of us. Hopefully soon we’ll see
the prices start to come back down.
