AIRPORT LEASE
For those of you who haven’t heard yet, Tina and I along with our attorney, friends, family and supporters appeared before the city council recently (see May 2004). The good news is that we were able to relate to the council our side of the story and our solutions for the problems that led the council to take action on our lease. More good news is that it seems that after some negotiations on rewording the lease it appears that we may have convinced the council to reverse their decision. We have every confidence that this matter will be resolved to everyone’s satisfaction in the next few days.

THANKS
I don’t think that Tina and I or our employees can tell you how much your support meant to us during this very trying time. Many of you wrote letters, sent emails and called the council members with words of support. One council member told us that he had received letters from all over the state with words of support. Another said that they had received an impressive amount of letters and emails supporting our cause.

WEBSITE SUGGESTIONS
One of the things that we learned during our conversations with the council members was that we have a great bunch of customers who support us. Another very important tidbit that came out of those conversations was that we have complaints out there as well. Of course in any business you can’t please everyone all the time but we really do our very best each and every day. We want to hear your complaints and suggestions. We’ve set up a new feature on our website that will allow you to forward your suggestions and complaints to us. You can supply your name if you like and you can make the comments anonymously as well. BILLING CYCLE
Historically we’ve always ended our billing cycle on the last day of the month. We’ve compiled all of your charges and mailed out your statement on the 1st day of the month. We’re going to change that practice and start ending the month a few days earlier. Hopefully the end result of this practice will be to get your statement in your hands a few days earlier and for us to receive your check earlier in the month as well.
