FUEL PRICES
Our fuel prices have stayed high throughout the fall and early
winter for some reason. Fortunately our avgas prices have just this
week begun to subside a little!! February 1st our avgas price will
reduce 11 cents! Hopefully fuel prices will continue to fall and not
be a roller coaster ride as they have been in the past.
RUNWAY WORK
The Garver Engineers have informed me that the runway work, overlaying
and painting should begin in late February!!! The refurbishment of our
runway lights has already begun.
The last item on the list is the
trimming of the trees off of runway 08. Reportedly the hang-up there
is difficulty finding a contractor to trim the trees. Ronnie Hall, the
city engineer reports that at least two trimming services have passed
on the job. If you know of a tree trimming service who might do the
job please call Mr. Hall at City Hall or you can email him at
