Al Hiegel
Mr. Alphonse Hiegel of Conway Arkansas will be presented the Wright
Brothers Master Pilot Award on May 15, 2007 at the Conway Municipal
Airport. Mr. Hiegel is being honored by the FAA for his more that 50
years of safety as a pilot. The award will be presented to Mr. Hiegel
in conjunction with a Chamber of Commerce event at the airport. Check
the Log Cabin Democrat for further details.
Daniel Havlik
As most of you are aware, our long time employee Daniel Havlik has
moved on to new airspace. Daniel was with us throughout his college
days and stayed on after graduation as our manager. Daniel, like many
others in the area, is now employed in the natural gas industry. We
thank Daniel for his years of hard work at the airport and wish him
well in his new job.
Andy Jerry
Andy is our newest employee. Andy comes to us from Louisiana Tech
where he majored in Professional Aviation and worked at the FBO in
Ruston. Andy is a member of the Air National Guard in Ft. Smith and is
waiting on a pilot training slot with the guard. Drop by soon and give
Andy a hearty welcome to Conway.
Chris Thornton
Chris Thornton and Associates are our newest friends who have seen the
airport as a great place to do business. Chris and his full service
real estate business occupy the second floor of our terminal building
and love the feel and the central location of their new offices. An
open house is planned for May 15th to celebrate the relocation.

ownership of the Conway Municipal Airport Fixed Base Operation (FBO) in
October of 2005.
