FLIGHT INSTRUCTION

I’m happy to announce that an exciting new business that will soon be operating at the airport. Sparrow-Air, a company focused on flight instruction, will soon have at least one aircraft for rent for flight instruction. Their plans are to grow the number of planes available for rent to include aircraft capable of offering instrument instruction. NEW HOURS

As you are all probably aware the time changes this weekend. Effective this Sunday, our hours of operation will change to 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Before/after hours service is of course available 7 days a week. Please call 501-269-4559 if you have questions.

MOVING ON/COMING IN

Last month it was Jon Bull and this month it’s Jonathon Wright. Two of our fine linemen have moved on to other opportunities. We appreciate their service and our proud of their actions. Both of these fine young men are preparing to graduate from UCA soon and we applaud their ambition. Robert Jones and David Stone are coming on board as our new linemen. Robert is in training now and will hopefully be fully trained soon. David Stone comes to us after several years of working as a lineman at N. Little Rock and Central Flying Service. Come by and greet our new employees!

RENOVATIONS

If you’ve stopped by the airport lately you’ve probably noticed we’re renovating. New paint, countertops, and furniture are just part of the process. Hats go off to all the guys for the hard work. I’d like to especially note the efforts of Tina Cope to the process. Tina, worked with decorators, contractors and all the guys to make this process go smoothly. She also spent many an hour with a brush or roller in her hand. Thanks everyone for all the hard work!!
